the pumpkin patch, but donations are appreciated for other
events such as a hay pyramid to tunnel through, night-time hay
rides, a straw jump into a big pile of hay, face painting, a hay
maze and more. The fun begins Friday night from 5pm

Pahrump Fire
Station No. 1 (2003)
Gone, but not forgotten. The last big Haunted Maze that the
Pahrump Valley Fire and Rescue held was in 2003.
Halloween Online helped out with fog machines, costumes,
props and lightning machines to make it a great haunt. It was a
Pahrump tradition and this was the 27th year of doing it.
Then,
in 2004, the Pahrump Valley Fire-Rescue Service was not able to
hold its annual Halloween Haunt at the main fire station, due to
a conflict in the town counsel about the cost. We found that odd
since it was all pretty much donation supplied. They
held a smaller version, with the help of
Halloween Online again, in the Wal-Mart parking lot along
with a Trunk-Or-Treat and costume contest. It was a cold and
windy night but they made a small maze and people came, despite
the bad weather. That was the last haunt put on by the Fire
Department and it is sorely missed!
